Learning piano

Hello i would like to learn the piano but i am in a bit of a confusion right now
what is more important and what should i focus on the pedals or the keys?
if someone experimented could help me i would greatly appreciate

when i first biked my dad always said you can pedal without a bike, but you can’t bike without a pedal dont know if it helps ?
